Important initial information: Before you use the pawINAYA retractable/retractable leash, please read these instructions and the safety instructions carefully. Make sure you understand how to use the brake device by locking the brake before attaching the leash to your dog's harness or collar.

Basic functions:

• Operation in freewheel mode: Always hold the leash by the handle. Without using the brake, the system allows the line to be pulled in and out smoothly.

• Stopping: To stop line movement, press the brake button. Release the button to release the line so that it retracts under tension.

• Pull In: To bring your dog closer, use the swinging motion of your arm along with the brake button. By repeating this movement you can control the distance between you and your dog.

• Obedient next to you: To walk your dog directly next to you, activate the brake and use the permanent stop function for a shorter leash. To deactivate the permanent stop, simply release it again.

Safety instructions:

• General requirements: Users must be experienced and capable dog handlers. Children and inexperienced people should not use the leash.

• Regular inspection: Check the leash for damage or signs of wear before each use and, if anything is unclear, contact our customer service at hi@pawinaya.de .

• Avoid Damage: Protect the leash from being bitten and chewed by your dog to avoid damage.

• Safety measures: Never grab the leash and avoid the leash wrapping around body parts to avoid injury.

• Leash control: Always keep the leash tight to maintain control over your dog. Always keep your dog on a short leash when near people or animals.

• Instructions for use: The leash is designed exclusively for pedestrian use.

• Body Attachment Risk: Attaching the extendable leash to your body can cause injury, especially if strong pulling force is exerted by the dog. A sudden jerk or pull can cause a fall or injury.

Warranty and customer service:

In addition to your statutory rights, pawINAYA provides you with a limited warranty on the functionality of the pull-out mechanism for a period of six months from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or dog bites. If necessary, contact our customer service or return the product to our specified address along with proof of purchase.
