Intended Use
The pawINAYA® GRIP Holder is designed to carry a compatible retractable leash housing. It is a carrying accessory only and is not a braking, control, safety or restraint system. The GRIP Holder does not replace holding and actively controlling the retractable leash. Always remain attentive and assess whether hands-free use is appropriate for your surroundings, your dog's behavior and your ability to maintain control.
Active Control
Take the retractable leash handle into your hand whenever immediate control may be required, including near: traffic and road crossings; other dogs or animals; pedestrians, children or crowds; cyclists, runners or moving vehicles; stairs, obstacles or confined spaces; and any unfamiliar or unpredictable situation.
Never rely on the GRIP Holder alone to stop, restrain or control your dog. Keep the leash brake and controls accessible at all times.
Correct Fitting and Attachment
Before every use: ensure the GRIP Holder is correctly fitted; confirm the housing cannot slip or fall out; make sure all carabiners and fasteners are fully closed; verify the holder does not obstruct the leash brake; check the shoulder strap is correctly adjusted. The shoulder strap must be worn crossbody and must never be placed around the neck.
Inspection and Care
Inspect the holder, shoulder strap, stitching, adjustment hardware, rings, fasteners and carabiners before every use. Stop using immediately if any component is loose, damaged, worn, frayed, or no longer closing securely. Do not modify the product or attempt to repair damaged safety-related components.
Hand Loop
Attach only to a secure, load-bearing attachment point on a properly fitted dog harness or collar. Never attach to an identification-tag ring. Intended for temporary close control only — not for tethering or unattended restraint.
General Restrictions
Adult use only. Keep away from children. Do not use while cycling, skating or operating a vehicle, or for tethering a dog unattended. No accessory can guarantee complete control of an animal.

GRIP transforms your Flexi or retractable leash into more than just a leash: The adjustable holster is placed directly around the casing and combined with the included 3-in-1 leash / shoulder strap. This allows you to carry your retractable leash classically in your hand or comfortably over your shoulder.
The holster is size-adjustable and designed for retractable leashes from XS to XL. It fits Flexi models such as Comfort, Classic, New Classic, Giant, and Select, as well as many other current retractable leash models – with or without attached Flexi accessories.
The silicone coating on the inside provides additional grip and reduces the holster from slipping on the casing.
